I'm Rochelle Cheever, founder of The Elopement Experience™, luxury elopement designer and destination wedding planner specializing in Italy, California, and beyond.
Your elopement should feel and look like a work of art. Not in an abstract sense, but literally. My background is in fine arts, a BFA from the Corcoran School of Arts in Washington DC and graduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. I am also a painter. The way I see spaces, light, color, and composition is the foundation of everything I bring to your day.
The destination is the canvas. Every element, the florals, the attire, the tablescape, the timing of the light, the flow of the day, is chosen in relationship to the destination, to who you are as a couple, and to how you want your day to feel.
The couples who come to me are not looking for a wedding to manage. They are looking for an experience to live.
With over 15 years designing destination elopements and intimate weddings, I work as a creative director and lead planner, overseeing every decision from concept through the day itself. You bring the vision. I compose the rest."

Every experience is led by me from start to finish. I oversee destination and venue selection, design direction, vendor coordination, and on-site execution. My team handles the details on the ground, but every decision, every direction, every design choice runs through me.
Throughout the entire process all communication is directly with me. Live video calls, a private wedding portal, and complete accessibility from the first conversation to the final moment of your day.
