The Elopement Experience™ provides comprehensive planning, design, and fine art photography for luxury elopements and intimate destination weddings in Italy, California, and worldwide. Led by destination wedding planner and designer Rochelle Cheever, we curate every element of your day from exclusive location scouting and bespoke floral design to analog film photography and a professional creative vendor team.

From our initial consultation through the wedding day, we guide your decisions and oversee every logistics and design detail with personal, white-glove service.

What We Offer

Every celebration begins with a comprehensive foundation: venue and location scouting, artistic direction, custom design boards, planning, fine art photography, a bouquet and boutonniere, hair and makeup, and wedding-day coordination. We then build on that foundation with the dining, décor, music, and any additional experiences you would like to include. Each proposal reflects your destination, preferences, and overall budget.

Venue & Location Scouting

Your destination is the first decision as it shapes the design and every part of your wedding. We help you find the right setting for your intimate wedding according to the experience and overall vibe you want. 

Artistic Direction & Wedding Design

Rochelle designs your wedding around your style and destination. We create personalized design boards with your theme, color palette, flowers, attire, ceremony, and experiences so you can visualize your day beforehand. 

 
Fine Art & Analog Film Photography

Our in-house photographers document your wedding with fine art photography, including analog film. We allow the day to unfold naturally and incorporate room for portraits, candids and formals. You receive all the images and also a fine art wedding album.

 

 

Floral Design & Décor

Your bouquet and boutonniere are included, with additional décor available. We study your theme and color palette and include them in your design boards so that everything is cohesive and then coordinate the details with our floral designer and décor team.

Hair & Makeup

Professional hair and makeup is included in your elopement experience. We discuss your preferred look in advance, then share your requests with your hair and makeup artist.

Planning & Wedding-Day Coordination

We coordinate with your wedding team, manage supplier communication, and build the timeline around your wedding. On the day, we oversee setup, styling, timing, and take care of all the details so you can enjoy the day.

Wedding & Multiday Curated Experiences

A private-chef dinner. A boat outing along the coast. Live music during your ceremony. A welcome pizza party evening with your closest friends and family. Cooking class at your villa.

Overall investments for two in Italy, California, or worldwide typically begin at $25,000 USD. Investment also depends on the chosen destination, on your final choice of venue, guest count, scope and timeline as everything is tailored to each couple.
