Tuscany Elopement Wedding: 3-Day Quiet Luxury Experience

Tuscany is timeless. For Annie and Daniel, it wasn’t just a wedding day - it was a full three-day elopement wedding experience filled with quiet luxury, family, and culture. Their celebration unfolded at a private villa in the heart of Val d’Orcia, surrounded by rolling hills, local food and wine, and the beauty of Tuscany at its best.

Why Choose Tuscany for Your Elopement Wedding

Couples choose Tuscany because it offers so much more than a backdrop. It’s about the atmosphere, the lifestyle, and the immersion in Italian culture. Villas with pools and panoramic views, candlelit dinners, aperitivo hours, and long tables shared with family  - Tuscany gives couples the chance to celebrate in a way that feels both intimate and unforgettable.

Day 1 – Arrival and Welcome Dinner

Annie and Daniel flew in from Texas with their closest family and friends. After a few nights in Florence, they rented cars and drove into the Tuscan countryside.

There were 20 people in all, and we found a villa in Val d’Orcia large enough for everyone to stay together. A family-run property with sweeping views, gardens, and a pool - it became their home for the weekend.

When they arrived, guests were greeted with Aperol Spritz, wine, and local antipasti. Each welcome bag included olive oil, honey, cantucci, and a weekend itinerary - thoughtful touches that introduced them to Tuscany.

That afternoon, Annie had her trial hair and makeup at the villa. By evening, everyone gathered by the pool for a relaxed welcome dinner. Annie arrived with Daniel in a custom floral dress, the star of the evening. To let her stand out, the table design was soft in muted pinks with custom linens and seasonal flowers. Dinner featured regional dishes - cheeses, handmade Pici pasta, and local wines. With candlelight and the hills of Monte Amiata in the distance, the celebration had truly begun.

Day 2 – The Wedding Day

Saturday started at the villa with everyone getting ready. Annie with her sisters, mother, and bridesmaids in shades of pink. Daniel with the groomsmen and fathers in navy suits. Annie wore a gown by Rime Arodaky -  modern, elegant, and perfectly suited for Tuscany.

The ceremony was held on the back lawn, facing the hills of Val d’Orcia. Her brother-in-law officiated while a string quartet played. The altar was framed with low, colorful florals in pinks, yellows, and reds — vibrant but designed to keep the view open.

After the vows, guests moved to the olive orchard for a prosecco tower and aperitivo. Family photos and portraits of Annie and Daniel were taken around the villa.

Dinner was served at one long table styled with custom linens, hand-painted florals, pink candles, gold utensils, and delicate glassware. Bold spring florals ran down the center of the table, colorful yet balanced.

The evening ended by the pool with cake, another toast, and their first dance under string lights. Dessert, an open bar, and dancing carried late into the night.

Day 3 – Farewell Brunch and Honeymoon

On Sunday morning, everyone came together for a farewell brunch at the villa. Fresh linens, seasonal flowers, and a relaxed setting gave guests time to enjoy one last meal together before saying goodbye.

Afterward, Annie and Daniel set off to explore more of Tuscany and other parts of Italy for their honeymoon - the perfect continuation of their wedding weekend.
